Michele Byington focuses her time on representing clients in criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. She has found a passion in protecting people from the legal system after they have had to fight for their lives or loved ones. Michele co-authored the book Texas Gun Law: Armed and Educated, and speaks across the nation on firearms issues and the law of self-defense. She is frequently interviewed by local and national news outlets on current firearms related issues. Michele has extensive knowledge of the National Firearms Act and has advised in hundreds of successful NFA item transfers.
Michele received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2010 where she competed on the nationally recognized advocacy program. She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2010. Prior to law school, she received her B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University and was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Fraternity.
