I was at home, in my own driveway, and got into an argument with my husband; he pushed me down, and afraid of what he could do I pulled out my handgun and told him to back off. Little did I know that my husband had told the police that it was just an argument, and that I pulled a gun on him! I was arrested for aggravated assault; but thanks to the lawyers at Walker & Byington, I was no-billed by the grand jury.

My wife and I were returning home from a restaurant when a man came out of my back yard and chased us down. I shot and missed, and luckily that was enough to scare him off; the police on the other hand were a different story! One investigator kept going to different D.A.’s to try and get my case accepted, even though I did nothing wrong. The attorneys at Walker & Byington got two separate D.A.’s to drop the charges, and I didn’t even have to go in front of a grand jury!

After an ongoing dispute with my neighbor escalated, I made a mistake, got upset, and shot my own fence. I was arrested for a Class A Disorderly Conduct; which meant not only the threat of a $4000 fine and up to a year in jail, but also that I’d lose my License to Carry for five years! The attorneys at Walker & Byington convinced the D.A. to refile my case as a Class C misdemeanor (almost like a traffic ticket), and I got to keep my License to Carry.

I was helping my son move out during a rough divorce. The father of my son’s ex-wife started yelling and screaming, and stuck his head and body into my truck’s window. After one threat too many, I told him to get out or I’d shoot him, which got him to leave me alone. He called 911 and said I threatened everyone with no provocation, and I was charged with assault by threat! Once Walker & Byington got involved, the case was dismissed.

I was at home having a party with my family, when my drunken neighbor came over and started making sexually suggestive comments to my stepmother. When we told him to leave, he pulled out a knife! Little did we know he was a convicted felon. I pulled out my gun so he wouldn’t hurt anyone, and walked him off the property. Once he was back on his own land, I went home. The cops charged him with aggravated assault, but charged me with unlawful carry because I didn’t have a license! The attorneys at Walker & Byington fought for me, and got the case dismissed.
